In my life this week…
This week has been very much about getting back on track. We have been getting reacquainted with our schedule, and playing together, and learning about each other’s grieving processes.
We have been playing at crafts. Sweet Pea learned a bit about the pottery process as she painted and baked a micro tea set. Pumpkin has been unearthing (unplastering) mammoth bones anxiously awaiting that triumpant moment when he gets to put them all together. Who-Rae has been coloring with re-appearing ink, and enjoying the process of guessing at which Pooh critter she is discovering.
Helpful homeschooling tips or advice to share…
Taking the time to understand their hurts, may temporarily slow things down, but building them up and growing together to get through those hard times is a powerful tool that comes in quite useful later.
I am inspired by…
Those large families out their that homeschool more than three children at a time.
Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

My favorite thing this week was…
The eagerness the kids had all waking hours to play with their new art projects.
Questions/thoughts I have…
Why am I so tired in the mornings? This is not normal for me.
Things I’m working on…
Organizing, and continueing the decluttering projects this week.

A lot of early American Literature, a lot about palentology and mammoths along with mammoth hunters, and also a mixture of books that Who-Rae has suddenly found herself interested in.
