This week has been a bit more regular. Going through our calendar for this month it became very clear to me why I constantly feel like I am behind. I believe there are only 4 to 5 days on that calendar that have nothing written in. The pneumonia is doing a good deal better. I got out on Saturday for a booth even that I had said that I would participate in. I had a great time, and despite being completely exhausted, getting out of the house and meeting new people was very refreshing after so many weeks. The only thing that is concerning now is that Conan is feeling down, and he has a business trip scheduled very soon.
I am still on a pretty good roll with the newer approach to our schooling experience. Pumpkin has made wonderful strides in reading this week. It seems like things all came together at the same time. Sweet Pea is working out some letters and their sounds, as well as working with some numbers. She loves the mellow pace that we have re-embraced and seems to be flourishing again. Who-Rae was working on more specific body parts and functions this week, of course the tickles help a great deal.
This week I am reminded how letting the stress of everyday life, holidays, and family happenings interfere with you goals in life is easy to come by, but hard to fix. Take the time you need to slow down and re-evaluate your situation and goals.
My sister! She works so hard to do the best that she can for her kids. Although we have different understands of education, she respects our differences. She works hard and sacrifices a great deal to do what she knows is the best that she can, it is a wonderful feeling to look-up to my little sister!
We get to see a good deal of our family the next couple of weeks. Sweet Pea’s birthday was this week, and Pumpkins is next week. Conan is taking his trip next week, and we will be continuing on with our hectic schedule.
Grabbing hold of our Sweet Pea and kissing on her and telling her about the moment she was born. I loved telling her what I said to her five years ago, and I loved the look on her face when I told her how much she means to me.
Right now our house is not working for us. We did a couple of organizational projects that included down sizing and removing of furniture, and at present I have the remnants scattered throughout the house. Let me tell you I was ever so uncomfortable during our birthday party with a messy house!
Why is it that I rarely like my own cooking?!?
I am working on having a more upbeat attitude again as the past several weeks seemed to knock me down several attitude pegs!
Still working on the same readings as last week.
Bath salts, sugar scrubs, cakes, frosting, soups, and interesting pasta meals.
Having family so close. It is nice to know that you have someone there when you need them.
That attitude adjustment I mentioned earlier, as well as Conan’s health.
