In my life this week…
We had an interesting week, I suppose we always do. After getting Sunny a bit more comfortable, and teaching her to recognize her name as well as stepping up when asked, Conan came home with interesting news. His friend, surprised at our being bird people, told Conan that he has a parrot that needs a home. His life situation has recently changed and he is no longer able to care for his feathery companion. So, Conan having been quite excited about the opportunity said yes! So this week we welcomed Henry the double yellow headed amazon parrot into our home.
In our homeschool this week….
School this week was fun. Although we took time to hang out with our cousins, we still managed to get a good deal of reading done. Of course ere is always that possibility we could have accomplished more, but I feel the kids had a good week.
Things I am working on this week…
Sadly, I am still working to get rid of clutter. Adding Henry’s enormous cage has certainly made that need more obvious.
I am reading…
I am nearly done with my text book, and my Osteen book, and I have started a book on conures.
I am cooking …
More comfort foods, as we officially have snow cover on the ground. I am working up the menu for next week.
I am grateful for …
The flexibility and understanding my husband has for me when I am ill.
