Blood, Sweat, and Tears

"Writing styles are not easy to come by, they are forged by fire, they are cooled by the tears of ones own eyes, and they are oiled by the authors own blood; sheathing that style is an entirely new level of pain." - Shy willow

Daily Garble 6/16/11

Thursday!!

Wow! What a fast moving week! We are enjoying better weather now and have successfully planted (outside) several of the different plants we planned for this year. We managed to dig in new daisy's, and a sunburst flower, several cute little pink ground cover flowering phlox plants, a weigala, raspberries, corn, watermelon, bell peppers, tomatoes, and a white columbine. We have several seeds yet to get into the soil, mostly the remainder of our garden. The kiddos really seem to enjoy dumping mulch all over the newly located plants!

I also had the privilege of replacing the hard drive in my mothers computer yesterday. It was a fun and exciting, and quite stressful at times, project but I am glad to say is nearly finished! At one point I told my husband I needed to find a new career. He of course laughed at me, not because I stay at home with the kiddos, but because he new I needed to calm down! He of course was right, as he usually is.

In the case you were wondering, yes I am still reading several books. I have nothing to report quite yet and I am in the middle of several of them, but I will have soon!

On to today's news...

Weiner stepped down today, after stating a few short days ago that he was going to work through this! I do agree the man needs to get his life straight before he tries to impact everyone else in the political realm!

The things people riot about! Vancouver riots ended in tipped over and burned cars, injured people, and people even stabbed. I can seriously name a large list of things in our country worth a good riot, and the loss of a sports game, emphasis on game, is not anywhere near one of them. Come on people!

Thanks for Stopping By
