Blood, Sweat, and Tears

"Writing styles are not easy to come by, they are forged by fire, they are cooled by the tears of ones own eyes, and they are oiled by the authors own blood; sheathing that style is an entirely new level of pain." - Shy willow

Daily Garble 4/18/11

Monday, April 18

Catch-up day. Our family has had a very interesting stretch of sicknesses lately, but we finally seem to be making headway.

Shy's-Crazy-Word-of-the-day

Today's word of the day is... Condign.
It is borrowed from the Merriam-Webster Online dictionary's word of the day page. Condign meaning deserved or appropriate.
"My condign punishment for being sick is to have to catch-up for several days!"

Alright, now on to the news!

I am not quite sure if this is more of a freak incident than just spring weather but it looks like this past week end dealt some pretty interesting weather.

To make matters much worse it appears that there is more dangerous weather brewing.

Wow! Did you hear about the 7 year old that joined the army? I appreciate people out there still willing to impact children's lives. The Make a Wish Foundation has helped many children and their families to accomplish things otherwise not possible.
